This is because the government's Gift Aid scheme allows the Bone Cancer Research Trust to reclaim tax on donations. Can I Gift Aid my donation?
For your donations to be eligible for Gift Aid you must pay an amount of income tax and/ or capital gains tax for each tax year (6 April one year to 5 April the next) that is at least equal to the tax that all charities and CASCs reclaim on your donations in the same tax year.
If you pay higher rate tax you can claim further tax relief in your Self Assessment tax return.

If you make a donation online, you can tell us whether you want to Gift Aid your donation simply by signing, dating and ticking the box on the form.
