Each year around 2,400 teenagers and young adults (TYAs) are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Approximately 88 of these will have primary bone cancer. For many young people, the route to diagnosis and treatment can be long and challenging.
Every donation drives the next breakthrough and raises vital awareness, which could provide a lifeline to young people like Kate.
Kate's story...
Kate passed away from Ewing sarcoma when she was 24 years old. Despite GP consultations and presenting with red-flag symptoms at A&E, doctors missed chances to spot her cancer.
Kate's mother, Michaela, shares her daughter's story to stop this happening to anyone else.
