Gaynor and Nigel Jones have presented the Bone Cancer Research Trust with a cheque for the amazing total of £10,000 at our 10th Birthday Conference.
The couple set up the Rhodri Jones Memorial Fund after their son Rhodri passed away from osteosarcoma in 2006 at the age of 20.
The cheque marks the tenth anniversary of Rhodri’s death. Over the decade since Rhodri passed away his family and friends worked tirelessly to raise awareness of and funds for primary bone cancer – in particular, research into osteosarcoma – in his memory. This generous donation will contribute directly to our funding of pioneering research.
