Sam Brown is going the extra mile for his cousin, Toby.
11-year-old Sam is taking on a huge challenge of cycling 160 miles over the 26th and 27th June to raise vital funds for our life-saving work!
Sam will be cycling around the Scottish Borders in support of his cousin, Toby, who is currently undergoing treatment for Ewing sarcoma.
Sam shared with us:
Brave, funny and kind, Toby is my fantastic cousin who lives in Berkshire, and we share the same love of cycling. In March 2021, at the age of 15, Toby was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma. I hope I will raise much needed funds for the charity, increase awareness of this incredibly rare condition and continue the amazing work the Bone Cancer Research Trust does.
Kate Connor, Community Fundraising Manager at the charity, said:
We truly rely on supporters, like Sam, who take on such incredible challenges like this to raise life-saving funds and vital awareness. Sam will not only help bone cancer patients right now, but also offer much-needed hope to bone cancer patients of the future. Thank you so much Sam, we think you’re amazing!
