Rob Duffy is running the challenging distance of 50K in just one day for 7-year-old Freddie, who was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma in 2019 age 6.

Rob was determined to do something to raise funds for vital research into Ewing sarcoma in support of Freddie's Future, a Special Fund of the Bone Cancer Research Trust. The event will be taking place at the Banbury Rugby Club on Sunday 23rd May.

Below are some photos of Rob with Freddie.

Freddie's family shared with us;

Seeing people like Rob put all this effort in- weeks and weeks of intense training, is just beyond amazing, seeing the amount they raise is mind blowing, please help blow our minds even more and give even £1 to Rob, I don’t think we can deny he deserves it!! The fact he is willing to do all of this for our little Freddie’s charity makes us so proud

Kate Connor, Community Fundraising Manager at the Bone Cancer Research Trust, said:

We can’t thank Rob enough for taking on such a massive challenge for Freddie’s Future. It’s people like Rob who make our life-saving research into Ewing sarcoma possible, so we can develop new and better treatments for children like Freddie.
