Bone Cancer Research Trust is a charity that I have worked with on numerous occasions and that is dear to my heart following the loss of a close family friend, Zack, to bone cancer in 2011 when he was 15.
Jago Onians created his GoFundMe page on, April 17th, which marked the 10th year of Zack's passing and is the inspiration behind his fundraising mission.
“Zack was a beacon of hope and positivity for all throughout his journey and inspired me and many others to embrace a similar attitude to our own lives.”
Jago aims to run over 300 miles in May to raise vital funds for the Bone Cancer Research Trust, in the hope that a cure will be found, so that one day, others who battle the disease don't have to endure the same outcome as Zack.
Jago’s plan is to run 10 miles every day in May concluding with a 15 mile run and 25 mile walk on the 29th May!
All donations, no matter how big or small, are greatly appreciated and will be used to fund research into curing the disease, as well as spreading awareness of it and supporting those that suffer from bone cancer as well as their families.
