Libby's father Dave shares her story

Libby had successful life-saving surgery at the Royal Children’s Liverpool Alder Hey Hospital to remove the tumour and some skull.

The tumour was subsequently diagnosed as a rare children's bone cancer called Ewing Sarcoma. It was established that the cancer had originated in her skull and had formed a large tumour in her brain.

Not only is the cancer itself rare but its position and Libby's age make it out of the ordinary.
