Whether you’re a patient, family member, supporter, researcher or medical professional, everyone is welcome to join us for free at The Bone Cancer Conference on Saturday 28th September in Leeds.

What to expect from The Bone Cancer Conference 2024

  • News of the latest developments in bone cancer research from leading guest speakers;
  • Opportunities to meet and hear from other patients and families;
  • Updates on the Bone Cancer Research Trust’s wider work;
  • Specialist information and support for those affected by bone cancer;
  • Complimentary accommodation including breakfast is available free of charge for guests on the evening before and evening of the conference. Priority will be given to patients and their families and will be allocated on a first come first served basis;
  • Complimentary refreshments throughout the day and lunch for all guests during the conference;
  • An informal meal and social on the Saturday evening.

Sponsorship Packages

Sponsorship helps us offer this event as free to attend, so that we don’t add to the existing financial pressures faced by many patients and their families. Your business could be a great support to our patients, whilst raising your company profile at the same time.

  • Main sponsor - £5,000 plus VAT
  • Supporting sponsors - £2,500 plus VAT
  • Travel sponsor - £1,200 plus VAT
  • Lunch sponsor - £1,200 plus VAT

A place at the conference can cost the Bone Cancer Research Trust up to £350 per person so please only register for those wishing to attend the full event. If circumstances change and you can no longer attend, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can re-allocate your place. You can register using the form at the bottom of this webpage.

Children

Children are welcome to attend and a childcare service will be available on the Saturday, however, children remain the responsibility of their parent / guardian whilst at the conference.

Parking

Car parking is available onsite at the Hilton Leeds City, subject to availability. Day parking is £12.00 and resident/overnight parking is £18.00. Parking must be validated at the hotel reception. If the hotel car park is full, the nearest public car park is the Q-Park Sovereign Square.

Assistance with Travel Costs

One of our main priorities it to ensure that patients (current or former) that want to attend The Bone Cancer Conference are able to do so. To this end we have funds available to assist guests with travel costs. Priority will be given to patients and to those travelling great distance. Assistance is not guaranteed and should be requested prior to booking.
